Joe Engel is a self-taught mixed media artist dividing his time working and
living in Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee. Working out of a small studio in the countryside, Joe creates original handmade artwork with a combination of salvaged materials and original designs. His findings are combined with acrylic paint and ink to assemble works that straddle the line between raw and refined. His work can be found at festivals and exhibits throughout the Southeast.
